Take one unruly, strong willed English Bulldog, fit him with a Har-Vest, sprinkle in some small but savory treats, guide with clicker training and a dash or two of The Six Pillars of Dog Training Wisdom and *poof*, within a few hours we have a focused, eager to please, easy to train and cooperative (not to mentioned adorable) English Bulldog, despite efforts of his “brother” to distract him! The P.A.W. System for overcoming any dog behavior problem Steve DeBono | Mon, 09/29/2014 - 14:47 Perception, Action, and the Will. It occurred to me that these three disciplines could be easily adapted into a system for methodically overcoming any dog behavior obstacle (replacing the term “behavior problem” which I believe has more negative baggage). It also occurred to me that despite my long-standing distaste for overused dog clichés, I had no choice but to name the system “P.A.W.”
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- A dog fight between a rescue group and the ASPCA is looming over the care of Charlotte the puppy who was battered, stuffed in a plastic bag and tossed near the railroad tracks in Bay Terrace. Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Northeast (SNARR) is bearing its fangs by hiring an attorney to fight the ASPCA for the custody of Charlotte the 15-week-old puppy who is being treated at an undisclosed medical facility. "SNARR met with an attorney yesterday and we are actively trying to get Charlotte back to our rescue for the remainder of her care, treatment and rehabilitation," said a post on the SNARR Facebook "Charlotte's Place--A Journey of Hope" page. Alsu Ivanchenko, 34, of the 3400 block of Hylan Boulevard is scheduled to appear at Stapleton Criminal Court on Monday in connection with the incident. SNAAR maintains that since the NYPD has collected evidence and arrested a suspect "there is no need for the city to continue retaining custody of Charlotte. Unfortunately, the city and the ASPCA do not share the same opinion." ASPCA employees brought the dog under their care just as doctors on Staten Island prepared for her transfer to SNARR's animal care facility based in White Plains, N.Y. Ms. Ivanchenko made her $3,500 bail on Thursday after being arraigned on Wednesday on one felony count of aggravated cruelty to animals and misdemeanor counts of torturing and injuring animals and abandonment. Charlotte has a fractured skull, a fractured femur and brain trauma resulting from blunt force impact because of her ordeal. According to allegations in court documents, Ms. Ivancheko told cops she couldn't afford medical treatment for the Maltese-Shih Tzu mix, who she named Snowflake, so she put the little dog in a bag and threw the injured animal from her car onto the side of the road in Bay Terrace on Sept. 12..

got a Siberian Husky puppy and the breeder swore she had been treated for worms twice before I got her. Within a week of having her she was so bloated and uncomfortable looking, I purchased this and sure enough she had roundworms. This cleaned them all out and just to be safe I treated her again 2 weeks later and she was clear of worms. Best stuff out there! since using the dewormer my dog has exceptionally recovered from having worms before she would sit there and constantly lick herself and never play like a puppie should and now she jumping up and down going on my lap and playing with her toys and she just dramatically changed i don't know what i would've done without that dewormer she's so thankful to have gotten the dewormer and she is eating more thanks so much for puting more life into my puppy. Y 6 1/2 WEEK OLD POM GIRL CAME FROM THE BREEDER WITH WORMS- ROUND AND TAPE. WENT TO THE TRACTOR SUPPLY STORE AND SPENT $20 ON A BOTTLE OF NEMEX THAT ONLY MADE THE WORMS COME OUT IN HER BM EVEN MORE- IT LOOKED LIKE SPAGHETTI! BUT I KEPT NOTICING THAT HER STOMACH WAS STILL ROUND AND TIGHT. SO I WENT TO PETCO AND BOUGHT THIS STUFF AND 10 HOURS AFTER GIVNG HER THE MEDS- WORMS GONE, HER STOMACH WENT DOWN, AND SHE STARTED EATING AGAIN! THIS WILL MAKE DAY THREE AND I STILL WILL GIVE HER THE PACKET AS DIRECTED BUT THIS STUFF WORKS HANDS DOWN!

Dog Care & Ownership, An Essential Guide There is a bond that is forged between a dog and its owner and it is something many cherish but some people do not understand. The reason is that there are no demands placed on you by your dog. There is unspoken companionship through thick and thin – no verbal reprimands about late nights or when you forgot to keep a promise – and always a good to see you welcome illustrated by a wagging tail and a happy disposition. Puppy And Dog CarePuppies and dogs respond to considerate owners in the only way they know – they are considerate back. There have been many books written on life through the eyes of a dog, thousands discuss how best to care for them, seen from the perspective of ‘experts’ who know best. Most of them contain interesting and informative observations, a few are invaluable for serious students, but the majority do not focus on the changing needs of dogs as they go from puppies to mature dogs and then onto valued friends in old age, with all that that entails. Puppy and Dog Care welcomes contributions from owners, trainers, vets – indeed anyone who feels they have something to share on the subject of the welfare of both dogs and how best to maintain the friendship we all relish. Hi, my name is Birch, because I'm silver like the tree! I could be renamed Nike though, because it looks like I have the swoosh logo on my chest. My very favorite thing in the whole world is ice cubes although I always have to steal any toy my brother has (Dexter the Vizsla). But I love him and make sure to give him lots of kisses to make up for it! I'm usually romping around the yard or hiding under the pine tree. My parents say I'm brilliant because I'm already potty trained and put myself to bed at night, but I'm not the most ladylike because I eat dirt and dribble water everywhere. I'm really looking forward to starting daycare this winter so I can make a lot of new friends!
